Write Blog #10 (200-400 words) comparing your second reading experience with your first. Did you notice something new? Did you react differently to one of the author’s claims? Did you read something critically when, at first, you read it as a believer or vice versa? Continue to “clear the fog.” Look up at least two more terms or references that you don’t know.

I noticed in Becks essay on how people can influence behavior. I didn’t notice this as much the first time I read. I noticed how we are taught ways society sees us. The way they see us is we are suppose to go to school, college, get married, and have kids and have a well paying job.  Beck states how that is shifting we have more options to form our lives. For example, home school, work from home, and many others. Beck states how it is the way we are raised by our parent or guardian, they form us into the way we are and the way they want us to be. We just have the option after we get out of the house to change or stay the same. I do believe with this because Beck has back up to this and the way society is in general. It is the way we are judged if we are an outsider of society’s norm. 

One term that I was unsure about was the word premise. According to google it means “a previous statement or proposition from which another is inferred or follows as a conclusion.” Another term I was confused about was atonement. Also according to google it means “reparation for a wrong or injury.”
