Before even starting papers in class we read articles about different topics that connected to the papers we had to write. One of the papers we wrote was about was metaphors. We read two articles that had different opinions on how metaphors were used. The prompt we had to write about is doing what is our opinions on if metaphors play a large role in our health. The articles had strong points that helped back up our opinions. I used quotations to help me form an argument and to make my statement come more alive. The ways it helped me develop my paper because it showed me ways I can back information up. Also, to connect to their statements to mine and to have that support in other people and writers on what you believe is good because it can pursue the reader. It is a way that can also be used to use quotations that can help form statements. This way people can not just go off one statement but can go off many other facts from professional people. I feel this made me develop my paper because it benefited me from not just talking about my opinion but having people back it up.
